Independence Spirit at PT. EAGLE INDO PHARMA

In order to celebrate the 72nd Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia and foster the employees’ nationalism and patriotism spirit, PT. EAGLE INDO PHARMA held a flag raising ceremony, which is followed by a celebration of the independence. Various competitions and art stage were organized for such celebration. The art stage was enlivened by single electone and singers’ show from SAPTARIKA ENTERTAINMENT led by Mr. Hendra.

“The theme of this independence celebration is “United We Stand, Divided We Fall”. This theme is expected to improve our awareness on the national integrity of the Republic of Indonesia. The development advancement, in the scope of either state or corporate, is only possible if all society groups and employees are united,” said Mrs. Rosmalela Napitupulu, HR&GA Head Division in her speech as the Executive Chairman of the Committee.

Attending the event were Mr. David Elsaputra as CEO of PT. Eagle Indo Pharma, the company's Board of Directors and other management, and 1,455 employees from all levels. In the event which spent a significant amount of money, various races were held, such as tug of war, GPU dance competition, clogs race, transferring eels, cracker-eating race, blindfold makeup, dance while squezzing orange between thighs, and “eggplant soccer” (i.e. in this game, players should kick the ball using an eggplant tied around their waist). All competitions offered cash prize.

All attendees looked enthusiastic and enjoyed the celebration with joy. The event lasted until 2:00 p.m. and was concluded with a doorprize, where the main prize of 32” LED TV was won by the production operator.
